joe rozum

Joe Rozum, ( pianist, composer & songwriter ), is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. A songwriter of all styles...completing his 2004 debut self-titled CD with the musical styles of jazz, latin, pop...synonymous to the FM station 94.7-The Wave in Los Angeles.

Extensive piano styles as an instrumentalist led him to play various restaurants & hotels, private party receptions & award shows throughout the Los Angeles area. Still currently playing throughout the area as a soloist, accompanist for singers & keyboardist for the music ministry at his church.

As a songwriter & composer, Joe has written musical genres in all styles from Pop to Blues, Country to Gospel, R &B to Jazz, etc....In 1996, he was the composer for the award winning short film, "Have a Periwinkle Day", in the New York International Film Festival. In 2000, he was composer for the commercial for the local Los Angeles & Santa Barbara specialty store " Jay's Luggage & Gifts."

Joe has composed for numerous college and film festivals in the Los Angeles area. In the 90's, he was the composer for a Hanna-Barbera cartoon episode Phish & Chip, arranger and session pianist for the video of Bruce Lee's "Jeet Kune Do". Recently Joe was the composer for the award winning digitally animated film by Kelly Kennedy entitled " The Baseball Card Shop ". Also a current tv/ radio commercial spot airing in the San Diego area of his song from his 2nd cd entiled Boogie Cookin' for Valley View Casino.

ALSO--- Joe has been very successful with near sell-outs at his concerts for the past 3 years & is excited for his upcoming return performance @ Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA., and expresses a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been a listener and supportive of his music and his concerts!

As a piano teacher, his former students include Bette Midler, John Stamos & Lori Loughlin.
